Mawlid Is Not From Loving The Prophet

Mawlid is bid'ah

Rabi'ul Awwal 12 H

Celebrating & participating in Mawlid out of love for the Prophet

There is nothing in the Qur’aan to say that we should celebrate the Mawlid or birthday of the Prophet SallAllaahu Alayhi wa Sallam. The Prophet himself SallAllaahu Alayhi wa Sallam did not do this or command anyone to do it, either during his lifetime or after his death.
The Sahaabah (may Allah be pleased with them) were the people who loved the Prophet SallAllaahu Alayhi waSallam most. They  had a greater love and respect for him, and were more aware of his rights, than those who came after them....

33 Tips to launch your personal Battle against Racism and Nationalism

Jihad against Racism and Nationalism

By Abdul Malik

Alhamdulillah, all Masjids in the world are open to all people. Muslims pray shoulder to shoulder with no regard to any national, ethnic, class or color differences. Islamic egalitarianism still gains converts from the untouchables of India to Malcolm X and Muhammad Ali in America. However, this dominant reality is sometimes marred by individual behavior, which is contrary to the ideals of Islam.
Some Muslims fall for the age-old trick of Satan and start playing the silly inferiority/superiority game. Some stereotype others and tolerate prejudice against other human beings, despite the fact that all human beings are equal, from the same man and woman. (Quran 49:13)

Conditions You Must Meet to Benefit from the Qur’an

Conditions to benefit from the Qur'an

“Allah has sent down the best statement, a Book (this Qur’an), its parts resembling each other in goodness and truth, oft-repeated. The skins of those who fear their Lord shiver from it (when they recite it or hear it). Then their skin and their heart soften to the remembrance of Allah. That is the guidance of Allah. He Guides therewith whom He pleases and whomever Allah sends astray, for him there is no guide. [Soorah Az-Zumar, v: 23]

A Muslim's Attitude to Trials

Image result for royalty free images trials for muslims

As part of our Islamic faith, we believe that all matters are in the hands of Allah. However, for some of us our faith can get shaken during times of trials and hardships. It is during those times though that we should remind ourselves that a believer’s position and rank is raised in front of Allah and that such a hardship may very well be a sign of Allah’s love for the believer. This can help us in maintaining & strengthening our faith, increasing our righteous deeds, which will finally take us to Paradise, inshaAllah!

Check-point of our life : 40

'Not now, I'm not ready'

For us Muslims, we should take a lesson from the deaths of people, especially young people, and realise that at some point death will also come upon us - not when we are ready for it, but when it has been decreed for us. Many people today focus on how to live longer and how to enjoy their lives to the fullest, but they neglect correcting their own selves until it is too late. At the time the Angel of Death comes to any one of us, we certainly will not be able to say, "Not now, I'm not ready."

Fasting in Shawwal

Fasting 6 days in Shawwal

Shaikh Uthaymeen may Allah have mercy on him, said about fasting the six days of Shawwal:

“The wisdom behind fasting the six days of Shawwal is the same as the wisdom regarding other optional acts which Allah has ordained for His Servants in order to make the obligatory actions complete.  So fasting the six days of Shawwal is like the supererogatory Sunnah prayers [ar-Raatibah] which are performed after the obligatory prayers in order to complete any deficiencies in them. And from Allah, the Most High’s, Wisdom is that He made Sunnah [prayers] for the obligatory ones in order to complete them and raise them [in rank], so fasting the six days of Shawwal has this great benefit.”
