DAILY AZKAAR

 

Daily Azkaar - Invocations to Allah to do regularly after the Fard (Obligatory) prayers and at any and all other times. Instead of wasting away the times that one may be silent or even worse humming songs while at work in the office, cooking, cleaning or during any other chores, how much beneficial it would be instead to keep our tongues wet with Azkaar as the following :

Azaan - The call to Prayer 
The Greatest Zikr of Allah - Reminder of Allah

اَﷲُ ﺍَﻛْﺑَﺮَ اﷲُ ﺍَﻛْﺑَﺮ   2X

Allah is the Greatest

ﺍَﺸْﻬَﺩُ اَﻦ ﻻَّ اِﻟَﻪَ اِلاَّ ﷲ  2X

I testify that there is none worthy of worship but Allah

ﺍَﺸْﻬَﺩُ اَﻦَّ ﻤُﺤَﻤَّﺪَ ﺮَّﺴُﻮﻝُ اﷲ  2X

I testify that Muhammed is the Messenger of Allah

ﺤَﻲَّﻋَﻠَﻰ ﺍﻠﺼَّﻼَﺓ  2X

Hasten towards Salaah

ﺤَﻲَّﻋَﻠَﻰ ﺍﻠْﻓَﻼَﺡ   2X

Hasten Towards Success

اَﷲُ ﺍَﻛْﺑَﺮَ اﷲُ ﺍَﻛْﺑَﺮ

Allah is the Greatest

لاَ اِلَهَ اِلاَّ الله

There is none worthy of worship besides Allah

Repeat after each part of Azaan and when you reach to 'Hayya'alassalaah' and 'Hayya'alalfalaah' say :

لاَحَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ اِلاَّ بِالله

Then repeat the remaining as it is. Once the Azaan is over, say :

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ هَذِهِ الدَّعْوَةِ التَّامَّةِ، وَالصَّلَاةِ الْقَائِمَةِ، آتِ مُحَمَّداً الْوَسِيلَةَ وَالْفَضِيلَةَ، وَابْعَثْهُ مَقَاماً مَحْمُوداً الَّذِي وَعَدْتَهُ، إَنَّكَ لَا تُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ، رَضِيتُ بِااللهِ رَبًّا وَ بِالإِْسْلاَمِ دِينًا وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَبِيًّا وَرَسُولًا 

O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and established prayer. Grant Muhammad the intercession and the favor, and raise him to the honored station You have promised him, verily You do not neglect promises. Pleased I am with Allah as My Lord and Islam as my way of life and Muhammad, may Allah's Peace and Blessings be upon him, as Allah's Prophet and Messenger.

Azkaar after each fard Salah:

(1) أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ (times 3) اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ السَّلَامُ وَمِنْكَ السَّلَامُ، تَبَارَكْتَ يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ

I seek the forgiveness of Allah (three times). O Allah, You are Peace and from You comes peace . Blessed are You, O Owner of majesty and honor.

(2) لَا إِلهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، اللَّهُمَّ لَا مَانِعَ لِمَا أَعْطَيْتَ، وَلَا مُعْطِيَ لِمَا مَنَعْتَ، وَلَا يَنْفَعُ ذَا الْجَدِّ مِنْكَ الْجَدُّ

None has the right to be worshipped but Allah alone, He has no partner, His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He is Able to do all things. O Allah, there is none who can withhold what You give, and none may give what You have withheld; and the might of the mighty person cannot benefit him against You.

(3) لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ، وَلَا نَعْبُدُ إِلَّا إِيَّاهُ، لَه النِّعْمَةُ وَلَهُ الْفَضْلُ وَلَهُ الثَّنَاءُ الْحَسَنُ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَافِرُونَ

None has the right to be worshipped but Allah alone, He has no partner, His is the dominion and His is the praise and He is Able to do all things. There is no power and no might except by Allah . None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, and we do not worship any other besides Him . His is grace , and His is bounty and to Him belongs the most excellent praise. None has the right to be worshipped but Allah . (We are) sincere in making our religious devotion to Him, even though the disbelievers may dislike it.

(4) سُبْحَانَ اللهِ / وَالْحَمْدُ للهِ / وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ   (each 33)

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

Glory is to Allah , and praise is to Allah , and Allah is the Most Great (each said thirty-three times). None has the right to be worshipped but Allah alone, He has no partner, His is the dominion and His is the praise and He is Able to do all things.

Whoever says this after every prayer will be forgiven his sins even though they be as the foam of the sea.

(5) بَسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ : قُلْ هُوَ اللهُ أَحَدٌ ۞ اللهُ الصَّمَدُ ۞ لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ ۞ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ

(6) بَسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ : قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ ۞ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ ۞ وَمِنْ شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ ۞ وَمِنْ شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ ۞ وَمِنْ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ

(7) بَسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ : قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ ۞ مَلِكِ النَّاسِ ۞ إِلَهِ النَّاسِ ۞ مِنْ شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ ۞ الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ ۞ مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ

These 3 Qul Surahs should be recited after each prayer. After the Maghrib and Fajr prayers they should be recited three times each.

(8) اللهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِنْدَهُ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلَّا بِمَا شَاءَ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَلَا يَئُودُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ

This is Aayatul Kursi (Verse of the Throne) recite after each prayer.

The above azkaar is a routine after-salah ones. Though there is no saying of our Prophet (SAS) as to reciting Durood (Salutations) to him specifically after prayers, I personally have made it a part of my azkaar after all fard prayers. After all of the above azkaar, I conclude my sitting with atleast 10 salat on our Prophet (SAS) in the simplest form as follows :

صَلَّ اللهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّد صَلَّ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم

May Allah send His Blessings and Peace upon Muhammad.

Or, the long form, i.e, Durood Ibrahimi :

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ، وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ، اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ، وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ

O Allah, send Your Blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as you have blessed Ibrahim and his family. Truly, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious. O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as you have blessed Ibrahim and his family. Truly, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious

After Fajr and Maghrib Salah: 

(9) لَوْ أَنزَلْنَا هَـٰذَا الْقُرْآنَ عَلَىٰ جَبَلٍ لَّرَأَيْتَهُ خَاشِعًا مُّتَصَدِّعًا مِّنْ خَشْيَةِ اللَّهِ ۚ وَتِلْكَ الْأَمْثَالُ نَضْرِبُهَا لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ ۞ هُوَ اللَّهُ الَّذِي لَا إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ عَالِمُ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ ۖ هُوَ الرَّحْمَـٰنُ الرَّحِيمُ ۞ هُوَ اللَّهُ الَّذِي لَا إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْمَلِكُ الْقُدُّوسُ السَّلَامُ الْمُؤْمِنُ الْمُهَيْمِنُ الْعَزِيزُ الْجَبَّارُ الْمُتَكَبِّرُ ۚ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ  ۞ هُوَ اللَّهُ الْخَالِقُ الْبَارِئُ الْمُصَوِّرُ ۖ لَهُ الْأَسْمَاءُ الْحُسْنَىٰ ۚ يُسَبِّحُ لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۖ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ ۞

(10) لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحَدْهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ  (10 times)

(11) اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْماً نَافِعاً، وَرِزْقاً طَيِّباً، وَعَمَلاً مُتَقَبَّلاً (Fajr)

O Allah, I ask You for knowledge that is of benefit , a good provision , and deeds that will be accepted.

(12) سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ عَدَدَ خَلْقِهِ، وَرِضَا نَفْسِهِ، وَزِنَةَ عَرْشِهِ، وَمِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِهِ

Glory be to Allah and Praise be to Him by the multitude of His creation, and by His Pleasure, and by the beauty of His Throne, and by the ink used to write His Words.

(13) حَسْبِيَ اللهُ لاَ إِلهَ إلا هو، عليه توكلت وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيم  (7 times)

(14) بِسْم اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ   (times 3)

In the name of Allah, by whose name nothing is harmed neither on earth nor in the heavens, and He is the all-Seeing, the all-Knowing.


After 'Isha Salah :

(15) ءَامَنَ ٱلرَّسُولُ بِمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مِن رَّبِّهِۦ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ ۚ كُلٌّ ءَامَنَ بِٱللَّهِ وَمَلَـٰٓئِكَتِهِۦ وَكُتُبِهِۦ وَرُسُلِهِۦ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍۢ مِّن رُّسُلِهِۦ ۚ وَقَالُوا۟ سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا ۖ غُفْرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَإِلَيْكَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ ۞ لَا يُكَلِّفُ ٱللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا ۚ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَعَلَيْهَا مَا ٱكْتَسَبَتْ ۗ رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذْنَآ إِن نَّسِينَآ أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَآ إِصْرًۭا كَمَا حَمَلْتَهُۥ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِۦ ۖ وَٱعْفُ عَنَّا وَٱغْفِرْ لَنَا وَٱرْحَمْنَآ ۚ أَنتَ مَوْلَىٰنَا فَٱنصُرْنَا عَلَى ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ ۞

“If you were to ask Allah for anything, ask Him for Al-Firdaws, for it is the middle of Paradise and the highest point of Paradise and above it is the Throne of Ar-Rahmaan (Allah, The Most Merciful).” [Al-Bukhaari]

“Whoever recites the last two verses from Surat Al- Baqarah, they will be sufficient for him.” [Al-Bukhaari and Muslim]


Additional Azkaar :

(1) سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ وَ بِحَمْدِهِ ، سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ الْعَظِيمِ

Prophet Muhammad said: "Two words are light on the tongue, weigh heavily in the balance, they are loved by the Most Merciful One."

(2) لاَحَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ اِلاَّ بِالله

There is no power and no might except with Allah

Upon the authority of Abu Hurairah – Radhiyallahu ‘Anhu – who said: “The Messenger of Allah – Sallallahu Alaihi wa Salam said to me:


"Say ‘Laa Haula Wa Laa Quwwataa Illaa Billaah’ in abundance,  for indeed it is from the treasures of Jannah"

(3) سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ ، والْحَمْدُللّهِ ، وَ لا اِلهَ اِلَّا اللّهُ ، وَ اللّهُ اَكْبَرُ

The above are mentioned as the four most beloved words to Allah. It does not matter with which one of them is begun.

(4) رَضِيتُ بِااللهِ رَبًّا وَ بِالإِْسْلاَمِ دِينًا وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَبِيًّا وَرَسُولًا

Pleased I am with Allah as My Lord and Islam as my way of life and Muhammad, may Allah's Peace and Blessings be upon him, as Allah's Prophet and Messenger.

Whomsoever reads it being a Muslim by heart, Paradise/Jannat becomes compulsory for him/her 

(5) شَهِدَ اللّهُ أَنَّهُ لاَ إِلَـهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ وَالْمَلاَئِكَةُ وَأُوْلُواْ الْعِلْمِ قَآئِمَاً بِالْقِسْطِ لاَ إِلَـهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ ۞ إِنَّ الدِّينَ عِندَ اللّهِ الإِسْلاَمُ ۞ قُلِ اللَّهُمَّ مَالِكَ الْمُلْكِ تُؤْتِي الْمُلْكَ مَن تَشَاء وَتَنزِعُ الْمُلْكَ مِمَّن تَشَاء وَتُعِزُّ مَن تَشَاء وَتُذِلُّ مَن تَشَاء بِيَدِكَ الْخَيْرُ إِنَّكَ عَلَىَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ۞ تُولِجُ اللَّيْلَ فِي الْنَّهَارِ وَتُولِجُ النَّهَارَ فِي اللَّيْلِ وَتُخْرِجُ الْحَيَّ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ وَتُخْرِجُ الَمَيَّتَ مِنَ الْحَيِّ وَتَرْزُقُ مَن تَشَاء بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ ۞
